{"id":1184,"date":"2019-11-14T22:41:49","date_gmt":"2019-11-14T21:41:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hirt.se\/blog\/?p=1184"},"modified":"2019-11-25T23:09:15","modified_gmt":"2019-11-25T22:09:15","slug":"mission-control-is-now-officially-on-github","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hirt.se\/blog\/?p=1184","title":{"rendered":"Mission Control is Now Officially on GitHub!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since this morning, the <a href=\"https:\/\/openjdk.java.net\/projects\/jmc\/\">JDK Mission Control<\/a> (JMC) project has gone full <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/openjdk\/skara\">Skara<\/a>! <a href=\"https:\/\/hirt.se\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/mc_512x512.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"148\" height=\"148\" title=\"mc_512x512\" align=\"right\" style=\"border: 0px currentcolor;float: right;background-image: none\" alt=\"mc_512x512\" src=\"https:\/\/hirt.se\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/mc_512x512_thumb.png\" border=\"0\"><\/a>This means that the next version (JMC 8.0) will be developed over at <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/openjdk\/jmc\">GitHub<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>To contribute to JDK Mission Control, you (or the company you work for) need to have signed an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oracle.com\/technetwork\/oca-faq-405384.pdf\">OCA<\/a>, like for any other OpenJDK-project. If you already have an OpenJDK username, you can <a href=\"https:\/\/wiki.openjdk.java.net\/display\/skara#Skara-AssociatingyourGitHubaccountandyourOpenJDKusername\">associate your GitHub account<\/a> with it.<\/p>\n<p>Just after we open sourced JMC, I created a temporary <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/JDKMissionControl\/jmc\">mirror<\/a> on GitHub to experiment with working with JMC at GitHub. That mirror is now closed for business.
